This position is only open to dual credit adjunct faculty who are currently or will be teaching Math at Grayslake North.
Required Qualification
- Currently or will be teaching Math at Grayslake North High School. MTH 121, 122, 221, 140, 141.
- Master’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education OR a related discipline with at least eighteen (18) graduate semester hours OR equivalent of Math courses. MTH 114, 115, 117, 118, AND Developmental Courses.
- Proven ability to work effectively and constructively with persons of diverse cultures, language groups, and abilities; demonstrate sensitivity to and ability to work with the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics OR a related field.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
