Position: Japanese Bilingual Saturday School Teacher - Mathematics

Working Hours: 8:30am-4:30pm (only on Saturdays - welcome for candidates who have a full-time Monday-Friday job)

Work Location: San Diego, CA

SUMMARY

We are looking for committed Subject Teacher to complement qualified workforce of educators.

You will be responsible for preparing and implementing a full educational teaching plan according to the school's requirements.

It will be fundamental to provide knowledge and instruction to students while also helping them develop their personalities and skills.

The ideal candidate will be passionate for the job with an ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust. They will know how to organize a class and make learning an easy and meaningful process.

The goal is to help cultivate the students' interest in education and be their dedicated ally in the entire process of learning and development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:

* Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning to middle school students.

* Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning.

* Create and distribute educational content.

QUALIFICATIONS:

*Associate degree or higher education background (in the U.S. or Japan); any early education experience (at elementary - high school) in Japan or Japanese language school.

*Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills.

*Well-organized and committed.

*Creative and energetic.

*Strong moral values and discipline.

*Degree in teaching or in a specialized subject with a certificate in education preferred but not mandatory.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
